Stephen Lenthall



Dave Eggers stories have often managed to turn the mundane into something much bigger and more surprising. So, a short story in this weekends Guardian about a fork in a pocket was perfectly in keeping with what readers have come to expect from him. But, fine as it was, it was the choice of photography from Stephen Lenthall accompanying it, that really managed to transform the ordinary into something special for us. 1-0 to art direction this time we think.
